JEFF GUENTHER'S RETROFITZ
Founded by noted regional guitarist, Jeff Guenther, Retrofitz is a Classic Rock / Rock & Blues Band with a healthy dose of originals. Some of the artists covered in a typical, uncustomized set would be Janis Joplin, The Allman Brothers Band, Sugarland, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and Heart. We have the 60’s British Invasion Groups, Southern Rock Bands, along with some R ‘n B Hits. Retrofitz focuses on tight harmonies, strong lead singing, soloing and, of course, a beat you can DANCE to!!!
Along with Jeff, Retrofitz features vocalist Annmarie Guenther. The band can be booked from a trio up to a five piece outfit, depending on your musical tastes.
Jeff has worked with and opened for many artists in the New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware club and concert scenes including Meat Loaf, Beaver Brown, Richie Sambora (Bon Jovi), Vince Martell (Vanilla Fudge), Scott Hallock, Who’s Johnny, Lee Andrews and the Hearts, Don and Juan, Sarah Dash (LaBelle), Frank Stallone, David Johansen and Grover Kemble. Jeff has also worked as a session musician, as well as producer, arranger and programmer for many artists as part of the staff of Fox Recording Studios in Rutherford, New Jersey.
