23 TO SPARTA
After disbanding their previous band, Kinetic, Sami Jarroush and Jason Fingar (original bass player) stayed in touch with one another and occasionally got together to write music and play small acoustic shows in New Jersey. Then, on one fateful and somewhat drunken evening in Baltimore, MD, Sami got together with Dave Santin and decided that they were going to start a new band! All they needed was a drummer but no first they found Kevin Bray to add another element to their band on keyboards. After a bit of searching they found Mike Green to be the drummer. The band was complete.
After playing for about two years, Jason decided to pick up shop and move out to West. The search was on for a new bassist, but not for long. They found Chris Henry and 23 To Sparta was complete once again.
23 To Sparta has been around for over about two years now and are currently playing shows in New Jersey and New York City. They would love to see you at one of their shows...they'll even buy your first round of drinks. If you ask real nicely. |
